Our Pastoral Care department is receptive to the needs of the diverse communities we serve.  Our Chaplains make daily rounds and provide comfort, solace and spiritual guidance to patients and their families.  They arrange all daily and holiday services, which take place in the hospital's non-denominational chapel. Our Chapel, located in our lobby adjacent to the security desk, is open to all for reflection, meditation and prayer, from 6:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.  Special hours can be arranged if needed through Security.  Simple services, held by a religious leader of your choice, can be arranged by calling the Pastoral Care Department at (718) 963-7689.  Availability The Pastoral Care staff is available between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Sundays. Wyckoff's Roman Catholic Chaplain, Reverend Father Val de Vera and our Jewish Chaplain, Rabbi George Stern can be reached through the Pastoral Care Department. Services Catholic mass is celebrated on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the hospital Chapel, which is located on the first floor.  Catholic Mass for Holy days will be announced.  Ministers and/or clergy of other denominations visit patients and schedule services in the Chapel. Pastoral Care welcomes all denominations as we jointly cater to patients' needs and spiritual concerns.
