Robert M. Peskin, DDS
Dr. Robert M. Peskin graduated from the School of Dental Medicine, State University of New York at Stony Brook in January, 1977. The following April he began a 15 month General Practice Residency at the Queens Hospital Center division of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center (LIJ). This was followed by a Dental Anesthesiology residency at LIJ beginning in July, 1978.
In July, 2011, Dr. Peskin assumed the position of Director of the Dental Anesthesiology Residency Program at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Dental Medicine at the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook, and an Assistant Attending in the Department of Dental Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and a Fellow of the American and International Colleges of Dentists, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Since 1983, he has maintained a private practice devoted to the management of the anxious, apprehensive, and special needs patient, currently located in Garden City, New York. In addition, he continues to provide in-office anesthesia for other dentists throughout the Greater New York metropolitan area.
